Isn't there a mod or trainer for sudden strike 1 to spawn any kind of unit i want for my army in the game infinitly

Is it true you no longer need to own a copy of Microsoft Combat Simulation 3 for this and Wings over Flanders Fields to work? Very confusing on the store page.

I did get a pirated copy of this game back in the day - my wargame aficionado wannabe self, being entranced by the mysterious title "Crete 1941" - what I didn't have access to was the manual, and therefore, enticing as the game was, I couldn't do much in terms of actually accomplishing something - just trial error around the map.

I like the music at the opening, feeling of wwii.

How did you manage to playtest the game?

I have SC:WW2 World at War. Would it be worth getting this as well, as I see the scale is better. What do people think?

This is a great game. I'm new to flight sims. I love IL-2 GB, but performance is so horrible I can only have a small handful of planes in each mission, I can't play the built in career mode due to performance and a fairly high percentage of Pat Wilson CG missions are unsatisfying due to AI not playing as a team. WOTR has hit the sweet spot. Even missions where there's no fighting are fun due to the interesting terrain, bigger flights and AI who behave in a smart manner. Love it. Well worth the 20$ to try.

One of the greatest games ever made.

Great overview. This is exactly the kind of Gettysburg game I'm looking for. I like to experiment with "what if" scenarios, and it appears this game is ideally suited for that type of experimentation.

Kind of reminded Caesar 3. And YT lost it, they are breaking their own rules and guidelines and arbitrary attacking anything even remotely related to history or military. In the same time they are 100% ok with propaganda videos with death, gore etc...

I tried to configure DXWND as best as possible : the game starts but once the game options are chosen, we go to a black screen... I would be interested in all the settings you use!

hello, we talked a while ago about cm modding. I found how to unpack cmbs exe and find unit values in the text file. They can the be re-packed and the unit value is modified. Something happend with your discord account

Sorry to hear you were demonetized. Have you already checked out switching to Twitch? At least there you will have the possibility of making some money. Also, perhaps consider removing the term 'war' from a new twitch channel. That would reduce your chances of getting a random, nonsensical, algorithm strike against you like in youtube. I must admit I really enjoy this sim. It got some pretty bad reviews when released. I think the main issue was that since it was a "spin off" of Silent Hunter 2 people were expecting some great destroyer vs sub action. Unfortunately the sub hunting aspect of DC is easily the worst. But the anti aircraft action is great and the torpedoes are fun to use if you have the patience to work out the targeting computer. The surface gun action is pretty intense, but it's really pure luck if you survive. Overall it's an immersive and rewarding sim if you can overlook it's drawbacks. If you really want to enjoy it I'd suggest playing the Pacific campaign and imagine yourself in the struggle against Japan.

In my understanding infantry are good against tanks if they get close enough but you should still get them in cover. Havent played though yet but thats what developer said

i found out that game in 2004 when i was 7 yo, played it 24-7 skirmish battle. I could not play campaign since it was hard for me.

This game needs modifications... It's a very interesting game for me.

Yes, the campaign sizes got mixed up, will be patched. Should be "We'll Start Here" = Large. "Purple Heart Lane" = Huge. "Fist of Iron" = Large.

I've played the first two Advance Wars games since I was a kid, and I love Athena Crisis as well, but I never really gave Days of Ruin a chance. Is it any good compared to Advance Wars 2 or the Reboot camp?

I downloaded and tried playing, game boots well but it crashes at a specific point at the beginning of history mode. Also crashes whenever I try free battle. I used AdvanceWars_DaysofRuin_TheDawnAfterAshes_EgalLau37(ver.γ7.0).ups on RomPatcher website With nds file: 1964 - Advance Wars - Days of Ruin (USA) (En,Fr,Es).nds
